COOPERATIVE TECHNICAL AGREEMENTS

• ClassIBS has signed a cooperation with Indian Register of Shipping (IRS) a member of the International Association of Classification Societies (IACS).  Providing the principles of mutual substitution and cooperation in the field of classification and certification of ships, offshore installations/structures and associated equipment, components being classed or proposed for class withClassIBS or IRS, or dual ClassIBS/IRS.  

• ClassIBS has an expanded agreement of cooperation with Vietnam Register (VR) covering the provision of a wide range of classification and statutory certification services. A key element of the new agreement is a program that will be instituted by VR to train and qualify ClassIBS surveyors to VR standards.
  The Vietnam Register has a great deal of experience with, coastal ships and offshore installations but the changing nature of the nation s shipping industry means they must now expand their horizons and capabilities. This agreement will allow ClassIBS to assist them in meeting that challenge.
