E-Certificate enables the shipowner to reduce administrative burdens such as sending paper certificates or storing them onboard by issuing Class / Statutory full term certificates in a secure electronic format (PDF). The following features are also available in line with the requirements of the Guidelines for the use of electronic certificates (FAL.5/Circ.39/Rev.2) as set by the Facilitation Committee (FAL) of IMO.

ClassIBS e-Certificates is a free, internet-based online information service for the owners and operators of ClassIBS.

Users can retrieve important information 24 hours a day, from anywhere in the world via the internet. After registering as an ClassIBS e-Certificates user, information can be accessed by logging in through the web service portal.
